Calcined petroleum coke is the product of petroleum coke (raw coke) calcined at high temperature of 1300 ℃ in the calciner. The purpose is to remove the volatiles of petroleum coke as much as possible, reduce the hydrogen content of petroleum coke reprocessed products, improve the graphitization of petroleum coke, improve the high-temperature strength and heat resistance of graphite electrode, and improve the conductivity of graphite electrode.

Production process
The calcined coke obtained by calcining the raw coke at 1300 ℃ without adding any other raw materials can effectively improve the physical properties of the raw coke, such as conductivity and density. Finally, the qualified calcined coke is discharged after being cooled by the cooling water jacket
application area
Calcined petroleum coke is mainly used in negative electrode materials, thermal insulation materials, resistance materials and metallurgical industry, among which graphite electrode is the most widely used
